Destination Haugesund & Haugalandet AS
In order to enhance travel and tourism within the Haugalandet region, various public bodies and private companies have come together to establish Destination Haugesund & Haugalandet AS, which is a further expansion of Destination Haugalandet. With freshly allocated resources, the new company will focus commercially on marketing the entire region in the national and international holiday, leisure and MICE markets. The company works in close cooperation with FjordNorway, Innovation Norway and other local bodies responsible for travel and tourism. The company will work actively on behalf of local travel enterprises in fields such as marketing coordination and contribute to product development. Destination Haugesund & Haugalandet also provides tourist information for visitors to Haugesund and currently has a staff of five people.
