Sightseeing and round trips

Sightseeing and round trips. We can provide excellent experiences both on water and on land. What about a stroll through an old tall ships town, or taking a ferry to one of the islands out in the sea? A fjord cruise can provide you with the best view of a waterfall, and can easily be combined with other trips full of experiences. Take a car and begin your own round trip of the region.

Experience our coastal culture from the water! You can go on exciting boat trips and visit small charming island societies, island towns with beaches or just enjoy a beautiful boat trip.

Regardless of where you find yourself in the region, you are never far from a recreational outdoor area. Among our favourites are long-stretching beaches ideal for Sunday walks, or sheltered inlets that are perfect bathing spots. The region consists of varied terrain ranging from heaths with tracks extending out over the fertile landscape to breathless mountain summits.

For children and families

For children and families

Viking experiences, a zoo, playgrounds and climbing installations. There is a lot to discover for those who travel to the Haugesund region with children. We readily recommend museums for those who are curious, indoor swimming pools and free summer cinema, or quite simply, a voyage of discovery in the great outdoors.

Shopping and well-being

Shopping and well-being

You will find everything the heart desires in the region’s many shopping streets and shopping centres. At several locations you can purchase local products such as food, art and handicrafts. Haraldsgaten in the centre of Haugesund has many niche boutiques such as clothing, interior, and well-being shops and cafés.
